GMC Explorer Van Swivel Seats
These swivel seat mounts made ALL the difference in using our 2013 GMC Explorer Van as a camper. With the seat turned around it opened everything up! I was concerned that the extra large captain chairs were too big to spin around, but the off-centered swivels and a little forward/backward adjustment of the seat the clear just fine. I did have to drill 4 holes in the swivel base to clear rivets on the bottom of my seat track - not hard to do, but you definitely want to contain all the drill chips so the don't get in the swivel bearing surface.

A great bargain for the price, but definitely not without their drawbacks.
These window covers seem to be pretty good quality, but maybe with some design flaws. the magnets are way too week and the shades barely stay on the windows. That being said, once you get them to stay on, they will do a pretty good job. I can't get them to sit tight enough to block light transfer, ie you can see the lights are on in the van when you stand outside, but they will definitely help with our cold weather van wandering.
Improvements:you need far better installation directions and photos rather than relying on the videos of some people that did the installations on YouTube.

I bought and installed two of these swivel adapters into a 2022 Chevy Express cargo van. The videos that were provided didn’t explain nearly well enough on how orientation of the plate was to go into the installation. The label on the adapter plate has to be up. But nothing has ever mentioned about that. Other than that, it’s a fairly straightforward installation that shouldn’t take very long but not 10 minutes. and as mentioned by other parties, the chair does not rotate easily, and you can’t sit in it when you’re rotating. Perhaps the rotational friction will improve with age or a different lubrication? It’s just not real smooth and easy at first at least. overall, I’m happy that we have put it in, but we haven’t tried using them much so far. I think they will be the best choice under our circumstances for what we need the chairs to do. I will say that the adapter plates are incredibly beefy.
