Installation:

Attention to All Our Swivel Bracket Customers!!

Do not alter any of the swivel bracket mounting holes. This voids the lifetime warranty and USDOT certification.

If the swivel bracket holes DO NOT align with the seat base, you likely ordered the wrong swivel SKU#. Or may be attempting to install on the wrong side.
In some cases, compatibility issues are due to having non-OEM seat bases installed, usually on used vehicles.

Please double-check your seat base and this swivel compatibility list before you place an order.

NOTE: For the top of the swivel bracket plate, make sure the bolt goes up through the hole from under the seat rail and the nut is placed on top of the seat rail (as pictured) for all sets of bolts and nuts needed to mount the seat to the swivel. Please DO NOT add any washers on the nut side. This is important for clearance during rotation.

The newest version of our swivel ships with no rear locking positions punched out by default to allow free swiveling when in the reversed position. The metal tabs can be easily removed if you want to use the additional locking positions. Use a flathead screwdriver. Insert the head into the gap and tilt the screwdriver; this can also be done with a pry tool. The cube should come out quickly.

Note: If your van has a manual E-break, make sure you add a hand brake adapter to your shopping cart when you buy a swivel, it will lower the hand break level to allow clearance.

Roof Rack Installation:

There are multiple boxes containing the parts for assembly. You should have received everything thar you see here. To complete the installation, you need some basic tools, a power drill, wrench and socket sets, set of hex bits, a measuring tape, and a ladder or two.

After removing the components from the box, you start by first sliding the stainless roof mounting bolts into the stock roof rails.  Space out these bolts to fit the side panels, and place the side ladder and side panels over the bolts. Be sure to account for the ladder which requires two bolts positioned near the cutouts in the side panels.

Next you will bolt on the front crossbar which contains the mounting points for the wind break we will utilize later. Installing the front bar first enables easier installation of the connection plates and crossbars.

Now you can easily connect the side panels using the square connection plates to secure them together.

After securing these, you can install the remaining cross bars needed for your roof layout, the largest crossbar being positioned in the rear of the rack. The rest are adjustable in their mounting position along the middle slots to accommodate the spacing you need.

Once all the crossbars are attached you can now bolt down the roof rack to the roof of the van. Doing this step later ensures the rack is square and secure.

Next remove the protective film from the wind break and add the rubber strip to the bottom curved edge.

You can then attach the wind break panel to the front cross bar, this is most effectively done starting with the middle mounting points.

Once securely fastened, you can install the light bar mounts and included light bar.
The last step is mounting the side ladder to the lower edge of the vehicle trim. To provide adequate attachment space, we include a mount plate.

And that’s it, a simple installation for a product designed for you and built to last. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via email or our website.

Thank you and have a great time on your next adventure.
