I agree 100% with what Steve said in his review. I asked for help, but did not get any. Figured it out on my own, had to do some deconstruction of the seat before the leg rest could go on. The thing is, it could have shipped with it on, and the upholstery complete, and in the same box. Mine looks like is had been at least partially assembled at one time as there is glue residue on the fabric and frame. Makes me wonder if they struggled in the factory too, and just shipped the leg rest separate instead. I still need to figure out what to do to get the fabric tucked away and looking good. Getting the back on was easier, but still a struggle. The seat function is what I was looking for, but only so, so in comfort. Very, very firm. Will be adding a gel cushion to see if that helps. I am 5’5” , my feet don’t touch the floor in the seated position. The arm rests are very short, and have a very small amount of swing that does not lock into place. With some improvement this could easily be a 5 star seat, but it needs some tweaking. I also purchased the 3 seater, it was easy to put together, and is much more comfortable.
Was super excited about these chairs. They came in three boxes with no installation instructions. I consider myself quite handy and STRUGGLED getting these chairs put together. There is a bunch of loose fabric and random flaps at many of the joints. Feels like something an upholstery pro would need to fix. Additionally, there are various scrapes and imperfections, including on the seatbelt itself…:(
If they were well executed, they’d be perfect. Right now, however, I’m wishing I would have spent more on the higher end chairs from other brands.
